To huh:

How exactly is slowing down the internet on someone's personal subjective whim a good thing; and how would it stop "exploiting people"?

Look up the word "pornography" in any dictionary and you'll find that 'pornography' becomes a very subjective category.

Would a nude painting be pornography? To some it would be, to some it wouldn't.
Would a photo of a topless woman be pornography? How about the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue? How about Victoria's Secret lingerie website? Again, it's pornography for some, and not for others.
What about sites that contain anatomical drawings, medical photos, or sexual education diagrams and pictures?

He'd best get a handle on spam then. Seems all persuasive here for most folks. I never see much spam but then I know not to put it out on the net where it can be obtained from others. Only the most closest get it.

Slowing down the speed of the ISPs is not going to sit well with the Aussies. Lord they already have some of the most snail like speeds for internet surfing and I have heard a many of them complain of both the poor speed and the regular stepping down of what speed there is during business hours. Many of them are not happy campers as it is over the speed issue.

What an ignorant douche. It's not up to one person to control access to content just because of their own moral objection. Take away free speech and you begin to destroy democracy itself.
