URL Snooper: audio, video downloads

p2pnet news | P2P:- Here’s a really cool, really handy, little application.
Called URL Snooper, it helps you track down the urls of audio and video files so they can be recorded.
And it’s free!
"Many links to streaming audio and video that you come across on the web are hidden behind javascript or activex scripts," says the site.
"Because of this, it is sometimes very difficult to figure out the actual urls that correspond to the streams being played. URL Snooper provides easy solution to finding the URLs for all streams by by watching network traffic and identifying potential urls, especially streaming media urls."
URL Snooper uses the free WinPcap network sniffing driver, which supports most ethernet cards, says the creator, Mouser.
But, if you use a dial-up modem, you’ll have to go through a few extra steps to get URL Snooper to work.
In that case, visit the Streaming Media Recording Forum for more help on using URL Snooper and for general help on recording streaming media, suggests Mouser.
