They’re all terms being used in stories on Miley Cyrus’ latest scandal.

Last Tuesday and Wednesday p2pnet had a couple of posts on the fact Miley Cyrus, aka TV’s Hannah Montana, was using a look-alike during her stage performance.

You have to sympathise with fans, some of whom had paid a couple of hundred dollars for tickets, but from all accounts the fake Miley wasn’t on stage for long.

Anyway, Miley 1 and Miley 2 are now mainstream.

For a while there was a video of the two Mileys on YouTube – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n61rcKKjJK – but now, “This video has been removed by the user”.

User. Riiiiight.

On January 5, Just Jared had what was probably one of the first posts on the subject, with the video, and in a write-up he says, “During the Best of Both Worlds Tour, The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus, aka Hanna Montana, rock out to the song ‘We Got The Party (With Us)’.”

Then, at timestamp 2:15., “Hannah’s dancer in the green shirt pulls out a black sheet, covers Hannah up, and helps her through a sidedoor underneath the drums.

Then the FAKE HANNAH MONTANA comes out wearing the same pink sparkly coat and white boots, covered up with big white sunglasses!

Luckily, Jared got a clip from the video before it was censored (top right).

It gets even funnier.

Zounds! Hannah Montana Uses a Double? – says Pitch Weekly, with a story that has a little more to offer than the others.

But before we get to that, in our first post, we quoted ‘Kikariki,’ a supposed p2pnet reader, who said, “The show wasn’t a rip-off. (I just went last night) It’s terrible that there’s an imposter on, but it’s for (at most) 2 minutes.” And more.

And ‘Bekah’ says:

“I totally agree with Kikariki. I went to the show on Nov 1 in CA and I did not realize that their was a body double. Im not mad, there was a good reason as to why they would use one, but the could have thrown in another Jonas song to take the time for her to change. The concert was amazing! It was totally worth the cheap tickets for being on the floor. I had great seats and never even noticed that it wasnt Miley. I watched youtube vids from my venue to see if there was a double but it was hard to tell. I dont think people should make a big deal about this. It was only like 2 min. of the show. Im 18 and I totally had a blast at the concert! It was totally worth everything.”

Totally.

And, “even though I’m a big Miley Fanboy, wasn’t the concert intended for tweens that probably wouldnt notice it?” – wonders daimon masaru-sama. “Sorta like the easter bunny or santa clause? You still get to see the concert with miley, just like even though santa isnt real you can still get presents.”

Roy the Tour Mogul

Pitch Weekly blogs, “The following press release just came in, and, hoo boy, you’re going to love it. We thought at first it might be from Hannah Banana’s people, but it’s actually all about this guy named Roy Sciacca (who may or may not have been in a legal battle over Beach-Boys memorabilia).”

Hannah Montana Double Caught On Stage Tour mogul available to discuss public disappointment with child stars using “look-a-likes”.

Wow! a Tour mogul, eh? heh

The press release goes on:

“Roy can provide expert insight into why a child performer might need a ‘look-a-like,’ and it’s various negative effects on fans and the tour industry.”

The ‘press release’ was pumped out by Spelling Communications which on its web page boasts:

“We influence media to influence others. We penetrate targeted audiences with compelling messages about our clients’ products, services and professional viewpoints.”

“Penetrate targeted audiences” and “compelling messages ,” eh?

Wonder how they do that?

In our second story on the Two Mileys, referring to the Kikariki comment, “Sounds like a paid publicist pretending to be a fan,” says a p2pnet Reader’s Write.

“But, they would never do that, would they?”
