Amen. The actions of the enforcement agencies have resulted from the time of the announcement that sue'em all would start, my dropping all spending on anything they make or sell as a product as a boycott of what I do not approve of and will not support. Simply, my dollar is a vote for what I believe in. The denial is also a vote.

In nearly every technological advance that could help them, they have had to had their nose rubbed in it and have begrudingly accepted it only because it could not be done away with. Only after accepting they would have to deal with it has it ever paid off. Witness the VCR, the cassette tape, heck even go back to the early wax recording cylinders and every one of them have been fought tooth and nail over until they were told by the courts to shut up and accept it. We don't need to mention where allowing the VCR tape or DVD disc lead to with rentals.

Here we are on a cultural and technical revolution in which the media will have to be dragged once again, kicking and screaming all the way to accept. Face it for the public it is a done deal. No putting the genie back in the bottle now. The entertainment media will have to grabble with how to make money out of what is now accomplished fact. The public isn't going back, the face of media as it was has changed once again, and lawsuits instead of accepting and working with the changes will only result in more and more like me that refuse to do business until those changes are accepted and instituted into the media cartels.

As it stands now, if the artist is represented by these organizations, then the artist is painted with the same brush of distaste and distain as the organization itself for these methods. I would sooner see the whole house of cards burned to the ground in hopes that what arises might just be what the public wishes instead of what the cartels think they can force.
