Tom Cruise, Scientologist: video PR disaster
p2pnet news | Movies:- They didn’t!
They did. Google’s YouTube took it down.
Tom Cruise in his most laughable comedy role ever —- as The Great Scientology Snake Oil Salesman.
“The video is currently on YouTube, but who knows how long it’ll stay there?” – p2pnet posted yesterday, going on:
“But it’s definitely worth saving for posterity so use your favourite capture app, or maybe KeepVid, before Cruise and other Scientology heavies lean on Google to make them take it down.”
Last night it was still available here, there and everywhere, despite the fact the original had been censored by Google’s YouTube.
Not today, though.
No worries, however. It’s still online everywhere. And the parodies are springing up like mushrooms.
Nice, work., Tom.
Way to go, Scientology leaders.
Here are just some of the headlines on Google at 4:49 am Pacific:
- Bid to block Cruise video backfires – The Press Association
- Tom Cruise vows to ‘clean this place up’ – Sydney Morning Herald, Australia
- Tom Cruise’s Scary Movie – Washington Post
- Cruise control – Minneapolis Star Tribune
- Scientology plays Whack-a-Tom – Los Angeles Times
It’s a PR disaster on a scale only equalled by Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG as they try to sue men, women and children around the world into becoming obedient buyers of corporate music ‘product’.
Meanwhile, will Tom’s troubles never end? In what has to be one of the most farcical movie castings ever, he’s playing World War II German hero Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg, leader of a plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler.
However, a spokesman for the German Protestant church, Thomas Gandow, has named Cruise the Goebbels of Scientology, and, “This film will have the same propaganda advantages for Scientology as the 1936 Olympics had for the Nazis,” he says in an interview with MSNBC, and his son, Berthold, “told the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper earlier this week that he objected to Cruise taking the role because of his involvement with Scientology,” says the BBC.
“He should keep his hands off my father,” it has von Stauffenberg stating.
We’ll try and find time to transcribe Tom Cruise on Tom Cruise, Scientologist, The Video, for you. It’s absolutely unbelievable.

The people that bring SLAPP suits are finding out that on the net, the populace loves to find these sorts of tidbits. Faster than a blazing fart, it spreads all over until there is no hope of ever containing it.
If they had been smart, they would ignored it and in a week or so, it would all have blown over. But the Scientology mentality is to cause enough problems by legal means to get them to shut up. That doesn’t work well on the net, as they are finding out. Instead of gone in a week, this action has changed to be around forever. You can be sure this is already spreading to P2P apps and will be in peoples back up files until the dvd blanks crater from oxidation.
Slick move there… Guess there is no bad PR if you want it this bad.

Gawker has ‘em all…the vid most widely circulated is but one of six that was shown at the same Scn, Inc. event. Today media is responding to another in that series where Tom claims the EPA was lying, and that Scientologists don’t need permission because they are the authorities.
It may seem like Scientology is a harmless nut cult, until you understand their written policies to infiltrate governments, their corporate shell game of nonprofit “educational” fronts, and who was invited to and attended Cruise’s latest movie premiere – such as John Danielson, partner with former Bush Department of Education Secretary and Rod Paige of Chartwell Education.

Here’s a transcript:
Mister Big Voice: Tom Cruise on Tom Cruise, Scientologist.
Tom Cruise: I think itâs a privilege to call yourself a Scientologist, and itâs something that you have to earn, and⦠because a Scientologist does. He⦠or she⦠has the ability to⦠create new and better realities and improve conditions. Uh⦠being a Scientologist you look at someone and you know absolutely that you can help them.
So for me, it really is KSW. And itâs just like⦠itâs⦠itâs something that, uh⦠I donât mince words with that. You know? With⦠with anything that LRH does. But that policy to me has really gone⦠ffptt! Boy. And I re, and I⦠thereâs a time I went through and I said, you know what? When I read it I, you know, I just went pfoo! This is it! This is exactly it.
Being a Scientologist, when you drive past an accident, itâs not like anyone else. As you drive past, you know you have to do something about it, because you know youâre the only one that can really help.
But thatâs⦠thatâs what drives me, is that I know we have an opportunity⦠and, uh⦠to really⦠to help. For the first time. Ef-effectively change peopleâs lives, and, uh⦠I am dedicated to that. Iâm gonna⦠Iâm⦠absolutely⦠uncompromisingly (snicker) dedicated to that.
Orgs are there to help, okay? But we as, you know, also the public, itâs like⦠we have a responsibility. Itâs not just the Orgs. Itâs not just David Miscavidge. You know? Itâs not just⦠not just me! Itâs you. Itâs everyone out there kind of s⦠re-reading KSW and looking at what needs to be done and saying, âOkay! Am I gonna do it, or am I not gonna do it?â Period! And am I gonna look at that guy? Or am I too afraid? Because I have my own Out Ethics to put in someone elseâs Ethics. And thatâs all it comes down to.
And I wonât hesitate to put ethics in on someone else. You know? Because I put it ruthlessly in on myself. And I think that, uh⦠I respect that. In⦠in others. And, uh⦠you know. Iâm there to help. And weâre here to help. And my opinion is, is that, look, youâre either on board, or youâre not on board, okay? But just⦠if youâre on board, youâre on board, just like the rest of us. Period.
We are the authorities on getting people off drugs. We are the authorities on the mind. We are the authorities on improving conditions. Criminon. We can rehabilitate criminals. Way to Happiness⦠we can bring peace uh⦠and unite cultures. Uh⦠that, once you know these tools and you know that they work, itâs⦠itâs not good enough that⦠that Iâm just doing okay.
Traveling the world and meeting the people that I⦠that Iâve met, you know⦠talking with these leaders in various fields⦠they want help. And they are depending on people who know, and who can be effective, and do it. And thatâs us. That is our responsibility, to do that.
It is the time now. Now is the time, okay? It is being a Scientologist, people are turning to you. So you better know it. You better know it. And if you donât⦠you know⦠go⦠and learn it! You know? But donât pretend you know it and, or, for, you know, whatever. Itâs like, weâre here to help.
I mean, if youâre a Scientologist, you see life for⦠you see things⦠the way they are. In all its glory, you know? All of its complexity. Uh⦠and the more you know as a Scientologist, you, you donât become overwhelmed by it.
(snickering) And uh⦠I went, you know, she, they said, âSo, like, have you met an SP?â (disturbing outburst of cackling that makes understanding the next few lines difficult) And I looked at them and, you know, and I thought, what a beautiful thing, because maybe, one day, itâll be like that! You know what Iâm saying? Maybe one day it will be that⦠Wow⦠SPâs⦠like, theyâll just read about those in the history books, you know? (more sinister cackles)
Thing is, I just go through that tech, and itâs, it literally it, itâs not⦠how to run from an SP. Itâs PTSSP, how to shatter suppression⦠confront, shatter suppression. You apply it, itâs like boom.
Because they donât come up to me⦠and do that. Uh⦠they donât do it to me. Not to my face. You know? Or anywhere in my vicinity where they feel they can be⦠confronting, you know? They just donât do it.
I wish the world was a different place. Iâd like to go on vacation and go and romp and play and just do that. You know what I mean? I mean⦠thatâs what I want it to be, okay? Thatâs how⦠I would, you know, and thereâs times Iâd like to do that. But⦠but I canât, because⦠I know. I know. So⦠I⦠I, you know⦠but, you know. You just, you⦠I⦠I have to do something about it. Itâs not⦠You know, you can sit here and wish it was different and then you look at it and you go, âOkay, this is it, alright, okay.â And thereâs that moment when you go âYou know? I have to do something, donât I? Yeah. I really have to do it because I canât live with myself if I donât.â And itâs⦠and that really is it.
I donât care if someone thinks itâs hard or easy. Itâs either⦠youâre either helping, and contributing everything you can, or youâre not. Okay? Uh⦠because Iâm carrying my load. Alright? And not only that, as much as Iâm carrying, I still feel like I gotta do more. Alright? Thereâs still a thing of⦠letâs go!
You can just see it, the look in their eyes, you know the ones that are doing it. You know? And you know the spectators who are the ones that are going, well, itâs easy for you or what am I doing, and itâs just⦠that thing is, uh⦠Iâve cancelled that in my⦠area. (cackling) Around my⦠itâs like, man, youâre either in or youâre out. Thatâs spectatorism, and itâs something that⦠that is⦠we have no time for now.
So itâs our responsibility to⦠educate. Create the new reality. You know, we have that responsibility to say, hey, this is the way it should be done. Because we do it this way, and people are actually getting better. And letâs get it done. You know? Letâs really get it done, and have enough love, compassion toughness that⦠that youâre gonna do it. Uh, and, uh⦠do it⦠right.
And I have to tell you something. I really⦠It⦠it is⦠you knowâ¦. Itâs rough and tumble. And itâs wild and wooly. And itâs a blast. Itâs a blast. It really is fun. Because damnit, thereâs nothing better than to going out there and fighting the fight, and suddenly, you see â pfft! â things are better!
I want to know that Iâve done everything I could. Uh⦠every day. And I think about those people out there who are depending on us, and uh⦠I think about that. And it does make me feel like⦠man⦠God, thereâs⦠you know? We got more work. I need more help. You know? Get those spectators either in the playing field or out of the arena, you know? Thatâs how I⦠really, thatâs how I feel about it.
I do what I can, and I do it the way I do everything. (maniacal laughter) Thereâs nothing part of the way for me. (kookier laughter still) Itâs just PFOOO!
Mister Big Voice: A Scientologist can be defined by a single question. Would you want others to achieve the knowledge you know have? In answering that question, Tom Cruise has introduced LRH technology to over one BILLION people of Earth! And thatâs only the first wave heâs unleashed! Which is why the story of Tom Cruise: Scientologist, has only just begun!

I just checked and the video is all over mininova and the pirate bay. Given that they can’t keep telesync and screener copies of the latest hot movies off of bittorrent they don’t have a chance at stopping the Tom Cruise $cientology videos.
