Ex-FBI agent joins the RIAA
p2pnet news | RIAA News:- What happens to cops when they decide they’ve had enough of real crime?
They turn to fake crime.
In other words, they sign up with the RIAA. Or maybe the IFPI, or BPI, or one of the other corporate copyright enforcement outfits, all of which are happy retirement homes for ex-police officers of all ilks and persuasions.
Ask former ATF agent Brad Buckles.
One time cops become well-paid pseudo-cops, harassing teenagers and others on behalf of Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG’, the members of the Big 4 organised music gang.
Now, ex-FBI special agent Kathy Leodler has signed up with the RIAA.
A “self-described former tomboy from tiny Trafford, Ala.,” says the San Diego Union-Tribune, she, “never felt comfortable stepping aside for the guys”.
The story goes on:
Tall and still trim, with dark eyes that flash whenever the focus turns to her longtime career, the twice-married mother of two remembers how she came to be an FBI agent when thoughts of such a career were far from her mind.
In 1981, after a four-year teaching career, she decided to look for a new challenge. Then an FBI recruiter took it upon himself to send her an employment application.
Something during a chance meeting with Kathy persuaded him that she would make an excellent agent.
But each time the paperwork reached her doorstep, she was somewhere else in pursuit of other ambitions. After two years, the application finally reached her in Jacksonville, Fla., where she was working at a television station.
At the time, she was disillusioned and hurt over being turned down for a sports reporting job reserved for men.
But that was then, and this is now and, as, “the Director of Investigations for the Western Region, Leodler will oversee all anti-piracy RIAA operations in the western United States and assist law enforcement authorities engaged in music piracy investigations,” says the RIAA, adding:
“The work includes investigations into music theft both in traditional physical form and also online. Leodler reports to Buckles, who directs all anti-piracy operations.”
Now you know.

then she works at a tv station.
and the paperwork “finally catches up to her”.

Heres my idea: Use Ben’s guide for sharing, and use “How To Fool Google Spies Guide and tools”.
With these two tools we are all gonna fool Uncle Sam.
