Hungary’s talking dogs

p2pnet news | Product News:- If you’re a dog owner, you probably already believe your pet can speak to you.

But Hungarian ethologist Csaba Molnar and colleagues at Budapest’s Eötvös Loránd University, “have tested software which distinguishes the emotional reaction of 14 dogs of the Hungarian Mudi herding breed to six situations,” says Reuters.

“A possible commercial application could be a device for dog-human communication,” the scientist say.

Tests, “discovered that a computer could recognise whether a dog was in a stranger, fight, walk, alone, ball or play scenario,” says the Daily Mail.

“The computer correctly recognized the emotional reaction of the dogs based on their barks and yelps in 43 percent of the cases. People had judged correctly in 40 percent of cases.”

and how did they exactly find out that the computer was correct 43% of the time? Did they ask the dog whether or not the computer was right?

Most human living with dogs and that really befriending them know how to comunicate with dogs. Dogs knows how to comunicate with humans as long as these human are not stupid because you will need to put more brain power for that and a lot of openmindness given the differences between the two species.

We established that our dog recognize and understand to a large extend more than 700 words. Not bad for a dog with a brain not equiped for human langages! I believe that this is typical for an average dog.

If you realy pay attention to them you can establish real communication. They know easily how to told you what they want, what they needs how they feel. Similarly they understand how you fell yourself and react to your feelings, even feeling you are not aware of. If you play often with them you will realize quickly that they are actually smarter than you for certain things such as guessing what are you going to do next. If you play games with some kind of strategy in it you are no match!

Dogs are people and if you treat them as such with respect, if they fell part of the pack they can become your very very best friend regardless on how small big or powerful they are.
