Kissing couple sue over YouTube post

p2pnet news | TV:- They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But in this case, a video is worth a lawsuit.
A Chinese couple plan to sue the Shanghai Metro after video footage showing them kissing passionately showed up online.
Their embrace, "was taped by metro staff and uploaded onto video-sharing websites with mocking comments in the background," says China Daily, quoting the Oriental Morning Post.
"The three-minute video of the couple in their 20s was shot in September and uploaded to Youtube.com and Ku6.com last week," says the story, going on:
"Within two days, it received more than 15,000 hits, the newspaper said.
"A ‘mocking’ voice can be heard in the background of the video. It has ‘extremely embarrassed’."
The story goes on:
The man recently resigned from his job after receiving calls from relatives and friends. "Now, every time I walk into a metro station, I feel very uncomfortable," he said.
"We think employees of the metro station taped us illegally and made negative comments.
"What’s worse, they uploaded the video to the Internet, which has infringed on our rights," the man was quoted as saying.
Following their own investigations, the couple confirmed the video was shot at the Youyi subway station on Line 3.
The couple say they’ve hired a lawyer in both their interests and the interests of other Metro users.
There’s no law or regulation on the use or administration of subway CCTV cameras installed in all station, adds China Daily.

I don’t get it…it must be a cultural thing. Kissing in a public place is ok, but when it’s made _more_ public suddenly it’s not ok? I guess that’s what you get for being embarrassed about what you, and everyone else does all the time when they’re in a relationship in public…
Dag, I got caught kissing my girlfriend in public, I guess I gotta quit my job…seriously wtf!

“…Kissing in a public place is ok, but when itâs made _more_ public suddenly itâs not ok?…”
No, it’s not. Kissing in public generaly is because they do it impulsively, not to be filmed and posted on the Net, to be be use in a moral crusade or whatever.
Fuck, yeah!! Sue the bastards.
