UK police view Winehouse ‘crack’ video

p2pnet news | Freedom:- Amy Winehouse may be in trouble with the law after a video showing her apparently smoking crack was splashed online by The Sun newspaper.
UK police will look at the video, "to ascertain whether any action needs to be taken," says the BBC.
It was accompanied by what p2pnet described as a "lurid and shabby report".
"Her record company, Universal, said it was ‘deeply disappointed and upset’after the video was published online."
Riiiight.
The Sun, owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, now has Winehouse’s father, Mitch, saying the video, "may finally be the thing to focus her mind and convince her to get the help she needs to quit for good".
He also said, "Of course it kills me to see my daughter on the front page of your newspaper like that."
Says The Sun with relish:
We handed over a copy at the request of the Metropolitan Police after two officers from the SCD6 Specialist and Economic Crime Command visited our Wapping HQ.
The film was later passed on to Tower Hamlets detectives, who were set to analyse it.
A Met spokesman said last night: "Now we have received the information we will be viewing the footage to ascertain whether any action needs to be taken. We thank The Sun for its co-operation."

It doesn’t say who shot the video which, from the look of it, was made without Winehouse’s knowledge.
She’s due in Norway on February 29 to appeal against a fine for cannabis possession.
"She is scheduled to perform with Mark Ronson at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on 10 February, where she is nominated for six prizes," says the BBC.
