Has Amy Winehouse hit rock bottom?

p2pnet news | Music:- UK police are still trying to decide whether or not to prosecute singer Amy Winehouse following publication of a video said to be showing her smoking crack and using other drugs.
Meanwhile, she’s now booked into a rehabilitation centre, say reports.
“Amy understands she requires specialist treatment to continue her ongoing recovery from drug addiction,” according to a statement from her label, Universal.
Winehouse was filmed in her own house during a party.
Britain’s The Sun somehow got hold of it and splashed it sensationally.
“The tabloid doesn’t say where it acquired the video, ‘filmed at her East London home,’ or who made it, but it goes well beyond the bounds in a lurid and shabby report,” said p2pnet, adding:
“What Winehouse gets up to in public is one thing, but what she does in private is another.”
IOHO, The Sun’s action was, and still is, unforgivable.
Does she have any kind of a case against whoever made the video, or against the newspaper for publishing it without her knowledge or permission?
It’s tough being a celebrity
Winehouse has been unravelling fast and if she’s lucky, she’s finally hit rock bottom, something which had to happen before she could begin to deal with her addiction and get started on her personal road to recovery.
They say it’s tough being a celebrity, and that’s certainly the case for a string of young movie and music stars who are now in deep trouble because of their addictions to drugs and/or alcohol.
But that’s nothing new.
Drugs and alcohol are, and always have been a way of life in LaLa Land —- part of the currency.
Winehouse writes her own lyrics and one of her best-known, and most popular, songs is Rehab:
In it she sings:
I don’t ever wanna drink again
I just ooh I just need a friend
I’m not gonna spend ten weeks
have everyone think I’m on the mend
It’s not just my pride
It’s just ’til these tears have dried
Lyrics:
They tried to make me go to rehab but I said ‘no, no, no’
Yes I’ve been black but when I come back you’ll know know know
I ain’t got the time and if my daddy thinks I’m fine
He’s tried to make me go to rehab but I won’t go go go
I’d rather be at home with ray
I ain’t got seventy days
Cause there’s nothing
There’s nothing you can teach me
That I can’t learn from Mr Hathaway
I didn’t get a lot in class
But I know it don’t come in a shot glass
They tried to make me go to rehab but I said ‘no, no, no’
Yes I’ve been black but when I come back you’ll know know know
I ain’t got the time and if my daddy thinks I’m fine
He’s tried to make me go to rehab but I won’t go go go
The man said ‘why do you think you here’
I said ‘I got no idea
I’m gonna, I’m gonna lose my baby
so I always keep a bottle near’
He said ‘I just think your depressed,
this me, yeah baby, and the rest’
They tried to make me go to rehab but I said ‘no, no, no’
Yes I’ve been black but when I come back you’ll know know know
I don’t ever wanna drink again
I just ooh I just need a friend
I’m not gonna spend ten weeks
have everyone think I’m on the mend
It’s not just my pride
It’s just ’til these tears have dried
They tried to make me go to rehab but I said ‘no, no, no’
Yes I’ve been black but when I come back you’ll know know know
I ain’t got the time and if my daddy thinks I’m fine
He’s tried to make me go to rehab but I won’t go go go

Apparently, from what a lot of people are claiming, it was weed she was smoking, not crack. THOUGH, she does look like a crackhead. :/
