p2pnet news | Music:- At the begining of the January, “we’d like to moot the possibility that she’s suffering from the Paparazzi Syndrome,” p2pnet said of Britney Spears’ liaison with UK paparazzo Adnen ‘Aiden’ Ghalib.

Now, “Everyone is trying to figure out what’s wrong with Britney Spears,” says MTV. But Blender writer Michael Joseph Gross, “has a new diagnosis”. Stockholm syndrome.

Well, not new, exactly.

“Spears is plagued by paparazzi and now she’s run off with one,” p2pnet had posted, going on to quote the Wikipedia as saying: the Stockholm syndrome is a, “psychological response sometimes seen in an abducted hostage, in which the hostage shows signs of loyalty to the hostage-taker”.

Could it be Spears is, “now afflicted with a similar condition under which he’s become inextricably bonded to the paparazzi and is now unable to separate herself from them?” – we wondered, dubbing the condition the Paparazzi Syndrome.

Blender’s March issue claims Spears has a “self-created” relationship with the paparazzi, “one in which she has been chased for so long and by so many that she has come to not only accept them but need them in her life,” says MTV, adding:

“The dozen or so photographers who stake her out regularly also change her flat tires, pump her gas, give her directions when she’s lost and often pick up her tab.

“She seems to be basking [in the attention], and she seems to be trapped,” MTV has Gross observing. “She plays the role they expect her to play.”

And trapped she is, just like a whole raft of other young celebrities who are finding being famous isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be.

In fact, the only people laughing [all the way to the bank] are the entertainment cartels.
