New: isoHunt Community Toolbar

p2pnet news | Cool Stuff:- On January 21 we announced the launchof a new p2pnet section, Cool Stuff.

And here’s our first post —- another new launch :)

isoHunt has today released a new user aid, one founder Gary Fung says he’s “particularly proud” of.

It’s an isoHunt tool bar and it offers:

  • Quick access to searching isoHunt Torrents, isoHunt Releases, as well as torrents from Torrentbox.com and Podtropolis.com. Includes Web search of course, powered by Google
  • By-category RSS feeds of all of isoHunt, Torrentbox and Podtropolis’s latest torrents, in dropdown sub-menus
  • Instant access to isoHunt Releases and top searches
  • News feeds from our frontpage, as well as other P2P and BitTorrent news sources
  • Other features such as popup blocking, local weather, radio, unit converter, etc.

“In short,” says Fung, “it gives you instant search and browsing of all our torrents and news. The torrents and news feeds are updated in realtime. It’s co-developed by us so it’s malware free.

Click the bar above for a download and check it out ….

  1. Reader's Write Says:

I am sort of sick of everyone making their own tool bar. It has gotten to the point that a third of the screen gets covered up by these things.

I refuse to load any of the toolbars, but I can see where someone in the P2P business will eventually make just a toolbar and not have a regular webpage. That would make it harder to get tracked down and cut their liability.

I really like the toolbar…but it has more things than i want on it….i dont like how you are not bale to delete buttons (ie the media player, gadjets etc). i like to keep things simple and this isnt it
