Time Warner bills tornado victim

p2pnet news | TV:- First, a tornado ttrashed Ann Beam’s house.

“Next came the rain and the snow, making cleanup difficult,” says the Kenosha News.

But that wasn’t all she had to contend with.

Last week, Beam opened her mail only to find a $2,000 cable bill, says the story, quoting her as saying in wonderment:

“I just couldn’t believe it. I was like, ‘What are they thinking’? ”

The demand was from Time Warner Cable, “seeking reimbursement for equipment destroyed in the Jan. 7 tornado,” the story goes on, and nor was she alone.Others had also heard from the company.

“We understand this is an unusual situation,” the Kenosha News has Time Warner Cable’s Celeste Flynn, saying. “All they will need to do is call and we will take the equipment off their account.”

Well, not quite.

Beam had already contacted Time Warner, says the story, and:

She said she spoke to two different people, one who said he was a manager, and was told there was nothing the company could do.

“They said I would have to take the bill and turn it in to my insurance company,” Beam said.

She was instructed to get reimbursed for the equipment and then pay the bill. Beam said she explained the equipment was nine years old and the insurance company would only give her a depreciated amount in return.

She turned to volunteer coordinator Kandi Horton and the media for help.

Residents who need to “have their bills adjusted” should call the Wheatland Town Hall at (262) 537-4340, adds the Kenosha News.

Ya We are going to blow up the Time Warner Head Quarter and there is nothing we can do about it.

You see it is not us but hour hands that are doing this and they don’t listen when we try to tell them not to do this.

    So Evacuate!

  3. Reader's Write Says:

Well, she looks too overweight to be spending time in front of the TV anyway. Just sue Time warner for emotional distress and never watch cable again.
