Shaving, mp3s and …
p2pnet.net News:- The folks who brought you the iTunes / Pepsi / RIAA Super Bowl ad which used teenaged victims of Big Music’s sue ‘em all campaign as the stars have chalked up another triumph.
This time New York’s BBDO - the firm behind the Sleaze Bowl campaign - has tied mp3s into shaving in an ad campaign it’s doing for Gillette.
Beyond reversing mp3 so it reads m3p, BBDO doesn’t explain how compressed digital media files relate to shaving.
But then, the iTunes / Pepsi / RIAA ad thing didn’t have much to do with fizzy drinks, either.
In the meanwhile, the ad “begins with images of powerful and mysterious green energy waves, which later fuse with the new shaving system. The energy waves are metaphors for the gentle micro-pulses inherent in Gillette’s new M3Power.”
