Amy Winehouse at the Grammys

p2pnet news | Music:- Amy Winehouse won’t be at Sunday’s Los Angeles Grammy Awards in person because her request for a visa was denied.
But she’ll still be there.
She has something a lot (most?) singers backed by the corporate music industry don’t have: raw talent. So it’s no surprise that her Back to Black album was nominated for Grammys in six categories.
On Sunday Winehouse, who’s trying to defeat her addictions, willl appear, lack of a visa notwithstanding, “probably via satellite, during the program,” says the New York Times, going on:
“In announcing that Ms. Winehouse’s efforts to obtain a visa had been rejected by the United States Embassy in London, a statement released by her British publicity company, the Outside Organization, said, ‘Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery’.”
“They tried to make me go to rehab but I said ‘no, no, no’,” she sings in Rehab, one of the songs on Back to Black.
But she changed her tune after a UK newspaper ran an online video of her doing drugs.
