But not under the best of circumstances.
They showed up in court for the latest round in their divorce proceedings, slated to last for up to five days.
“Mills arrived first at the family division of the high court in London, where she will represent herself,” says Guardian Unlimited.
“McCartney arrived a few minutes later with his legal team and declined to comment on the hearing.
The court appearances bely reports, over the weekend, saying they’d reached a last-minute deal worth £55m (today, some $107,076,604. And 98 cents) by the time their three-year-old daughter, Beatrice, is 18.
“The size of the final settlement may never be known, unless either party chooses to go to the court of appeal, whose hearings take place in public,” says the story, adding:
“The divorce payout could be the largest ever awarded in a British divorce court. The largest to date was a £48m payout to Beverley Charman at the end of her 28-year marriage to the insurance magnate John Charman. That sum came from the couple’s total assets of £131m.”
Mills recently denounced rich people as “misers and snobs“.
