Blackberry crashes
p2pnet news | Mobiles:- Some eight million North Americans were BlackBerry-less late yesterday as its network failed for the second time in a year.
The crash meant users were, "reduced to simple cellphones," says the Canadian Press, going on:
"Most problems started around 3:20 p.m. EST, and service for many users had normalized about four hours later."
"It is a RIM issue," CP has Odette Coleman, a spokeswoman for Rogers Wireless in Toronto, saying.
"It is everybody who carries a BlackBerry with any carrier."
