"The former Beatle’s legal team, led by Nicholas Mostyn, includes Fiona Shackleton, who acted for Prince Charles in his divorce from Diana, princess of Wales," continues Agency France-Presse.

However, although Britain was, "the best jurisdiction in the world for wives seeking a divorce settlement," Mills, "has no background in law," the story has lawyer Sandra Sinclair saying.

"She must be mad to do it herself. She will be up against one of the finest legal teams in the world."

McCartney and Mills, "announced an ‘amicable’ split in May 2006, but their dealings since have been anything but friendly," AFP observes.

Not only but also, "Mills will quit Britain once their divorce battle is completed, her father predicted Wednesday as their High Court showdown continued for a third day," says the story.
