Google, YouTube and Videocracy

p2pnet news | Advertising:- YouTube is pulling out all the stops in its efforts to turn your YouTube contributions into a gigantic money making machine —- with guess who as the principal beneficiary.

It staged what it called a Videocracy event in New York, last night, with Ian Schafer, CEO of Deep Focus, as one of the invited.

But the real news was YouTube’s announcement of an impending launch of advanced analytics tools. You’ll be able to see where video views are coming from (geographically and site-wise), as well as many other data points. This will be a huge help to advertisers trying to extract more success metrics and data from their YouTube efforts.
