Paul McCartney divorce drags on

p2pnet news | Celebrities:- When Beatle Paul McCartney and his ex-wife, Heather Mills, went to court to finally settle their divorce, the experts predicted it would take five days.

However, they’re now about to enter week two, still with no resolution in sight.

“The financial settlement could break records, it has been suggested,” says the BBC.

McCartney has a fortune estimated at £825m (sbout $1,617,403,750.63 today) and, “Based on recent cases, divorce experts have suggested that Ms Mills could walk away with £60m,” says the story.

Mills, says The Telegraph, claims their four-year marriage, “turned her into a public hate figure and led to her receiving death threats, being hounded by the paparazzi and left close to suicide”.

She’s believed to be arguing she needs a substantial settlement to pay for security for herself and Beatrice, the couple’s four-year-old daughter, says the story.
