p2pnet news | Politics:- A photograph of Barack Obama in traditional Kenyan robes during a 2006 visit is doing the rounds online.
Now on YouTube and elsewhere, it was taken by the Associated Press but now has the headline, "Barack Obama In Muslim Tribal Clothing-Al Qaeda?"
"Obama’s estranged late father was Kenyan and Obama visited the country in 2006," says The Toronto Star.
The Drudge Report posted the pic yesterday, "and said it was being circulated by ‘Clinton staffers’ and quoted an email from an unidentified campaign aide," says the story, going on:
"Drudge did not include proof of the email."
And, "I just want to make it very clear that we were not aware of it, the campaign didn’t sanction it and don’t know anything about it," Clinton spokesperson Howard Wolfson is quoted as saying.
Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, "accused Clinton’s campaign of "the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we’ve seen from either party in this election," adds the story.
"Please don’t judge Americans by what you see on You Tube," says a YouTube comment post.
"There are many uneducated, bigoted people in the world & You Tube has more than its share. This incident will soon be seen for what it really is - a cheap attempt to appeal to fear in those who are prone to jump to inaccurate conclusions based upon little fact."

I’m not saying that any one of the candidates this year would make for a good presidency. Which non of them will.
