That is one of the most absurd things a wireless company can do to their customer-base. Isn't it the EU for a reason? If they want to have the same currency, I believe that they should set a president that if someone from a cellular company goes from one EU nation to another, the charges should be the same and/or @ the very least automatically re-set to how much it would be for that locality rather than charging up the ying-yang because of international charges. It would be one thing to take off in the UK and land in South Africa since that's going across continent boundaries, but to go from one EU nation to another? They really need to re-evaluate this whole situation if they want to continue being the EU in all facets of society. 21,000? Unbelievable!

This is why I use my cellular phone for only one thing - a phone. I use my wireless VOIP phone for all of the other fun stuff. The drawback to this is the fact that I have to be within range of a WiFi hotspot or open router. My cellphone is also prepaid, so that limits the rip-off amount as well.

Sigh..I do wonder when the powers-that-be realize that it's crap like THIS that keeps people downloading the files that they pick in the formats that they want via software that they control from even considering switching to digital PPV type services...
