‘Cyber crime’ HD duplicator

p2pnet.net News:- On the face of it, this handheld IDE hard drive data capturing system with data transfers speeds up to 3.3 g/min is a cool piece of equipment with all kinds of interesting potential.

But it’s being touted by its maker, Logicube, as a law enforcement hard drive duplicator.

At $2,249, it’s, "designed specifically for the requirements of law enforcement, corporate security, and cyber crime investigation of forensic computer data," says the company here.

"This hand-held IDE hard drive data capturing system is ideal for fast disk drive data seizure. Using its built-in CRC-32 engine, the SF-5000 allows for imaging speeds in excess of 1.8 GB/min."

It also boasts USB capture at speeds up to 700 mb/min.
