Windows XP / 98 music mix ;p

p2pnet news | Music:- Do you reckon Bill and the Boyz will get upset over this and try to sue the creator(s) for copyright infringement?

It’s a really neat mix of sounds yanked from Windows XP and Windows 98.

Stay tuned ;)

Wow, pretty neat! I’m quite surprised!

    Awesome beyond description…

This one was posted to Broadband Reports in their Microsoft
Help forum about a month ago. There’s another one that uses
actual images from Windows wallpaper along with XP sounds
    in this topic: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,20013104

  4. Reader's Write Says:

No new lawsuit necessary. Plenty of past and ongoing lawsuits, from the likes of J. K. Rowling and her publisher, do the job already.

A perpetual chilling effect is all that’s needed to contain fair use art as a tiny Internet-only phenomenon. Just make sure fair use artists stay too scared to ever offer their work for sale and compete for consumer dollars.
