p2pnet news | (C)RIAA News:- “The server at audiomaxxx.com is taking too long to respond,” said p2pnet in a post on the CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association of America) travesty under which Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG’s RIAA Canadian clown (sorry, clone) was bragging about how its ‘investigation’ had led to the closure of audiomaxxx.com.
Canadian minister of public safety Stockwell Day got in on the act, “in a statement which could have come straight from the mouths of Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG’, the members of the Big 4 organised music cartel,” we said.
He went on >>>
As a result of this RCMP investigation, tens of thousands of allegedly counterfeit CDs, DVDs and illegal digital downloads will be kept off the streets. I commend the police officers across Canada who continue to work vigilantly to shut down criminal operations, which ignore and undermine our laws for their own gains. Arrests and seizure like this one represent significant progress in our efforts to combat this serious global problem.
According to CRIA spinster-in-chief Graham Henderson, the ‘operation’ was the largest he’d seen.
“This is the Big Kahuna,” the Winnipeg Sun had Henderson stating, and, “Audiomaxx [sic] sent counterfeit product to thousands of international buyers every week,” the story went on.
“Anytime you shut down something as big as this, it has an impact,” Henderson burbled.
It certainly did have impact. Because the CRIA had Phuked Up Big Time.
The Winnipeg Sun and other mainstream media had Raj Singh Ramgotra as the man behind Audiomaxx and then on March 7, the CRIA grovels >>>
In the CRIA media release of March 6, it was erroneously reported that RCMP had filed criminal charges against four people in connection with the RCMP investigation into Audiomaxxx.com Ltd. CRIA has received information that no one has been charged with an offence in respect of this matter.
In the same media release, it was also reported that Raj Singh Ramgotra was among those arrested. CRIA cannot confirm the identities of any of those arrested and therefore retracts its statement to the effect that Mr. Ramgotra was arrested.
CRIA regrets the error.
No kidding.
We haven’t heard what ‘King Raj’ plans to do about this, but it’d be interesting to see the CRIA and Henderson on the wrong end of a defamation lawsuit
Meanwhile, the server at audiomaxxx.com is no longer taking too long to respond.
For the moment, http://audiomaxxx.com/ takes you straight to the p2pnet story on the debacle.
Stay tuned.

Audio Maxxx was a great service to the recording artists as mush as it was to club, street and mix show DJ’s that needed new Reggae and Dancehall music for their formats. The closing down of Audio Maxxx is a great lost for both the music and DJ industries. Hopefully, Audio Maxxx will over come the Big 4 and their associates and once again provide an avenue of expose for the artists and the music to those of us that want it.

audiomaxxx was the best place for new dancehall mixes and the newest riddims and singles long before you could hear them at most places. this was the best one stop shop for everything reggae/dancehall. i hope they come back quik so they can supply the masses with that pirate radio we all love and can’t get anywhere else. this is some bs that they had to shut em down. just tax em a little and let them carry on with their business. a sad loss is what it is…
KING RAJ man don’t let em keep you down!!!

WHATS SAD ABOUT THIS IS: WHAT HAPPENS TO THE PEOPLE WHO TRUSTED THIS COMPANY WITH THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY! PEOPLE WHO GOT CAUGHT UP IN THIS SCANDAL AND HAVE LOST MONEY AS WELL AS TRUST IN COMPANIES WHO PROVIDE PRODUCTS SUCH AS THESE. I TRUSTED THIS COMPANY ITS OWNER AND WHATS EVEN MORE SAD HE WONT MAN UP TO HONOR HIS OBLIGATION. I WONT WISH HIM NO HARM CAUSE THE FATHER WILL DEAL WITH HIM AND RIGHT IS RIGHT. GOD DONT LIKE UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
