TODAY IS SCIENTOLOGY DAY!

p2pnet news | Freedom:- Today is S for Scientology day – the birthday of cult founder L. Ron Hubbard.

Concerned citizens are planning on making it a day to remember with peaceful demonstrations across North America, Europe, Australia and Africa.

Click here for Anonymous on What You Can Do, and here for Stop Scientology Abuses’ What You Can Do.

Click here for the forums at Enturbulation.org.

Protests are planned for Texas, Australia at Aus Chanology, and the UK. And you can bet many more are under way elsewhere in the world.

This’ll be the second world wide protest of the Cult of Scientology.

On February 10th, 2008 there were protests at over 108 CoS locations in 17 countries with an estimated 7600 people participating. There was not a single arrest or violent incident at any of these protests.

Help make today’s demonstration the standard for the future ………..

=============

NOTE: – I’ve just had an email from a Scientology cultist accusing me of censorship.

If you’ve submitted a comment post and it hasn’t appeared, it may be in the approval queue.I don’t normally monitor Reader’s Writes but we’ve had so many blatant Scientology troll posts that I’m keeping an eye open.

For anyone who believes L. Ron’s money-spinning brain-child is being singled out, all troll posts were banned a while back. I said then, “Disagreement is fine. Deliberate and repeated posts designed solely to create dissension, aren’t.”

So if your thoughts haven’t yet appeared, don’t worry. They’ll show up. Unless they’re CoS BS.

Cheers!
Jon!

  1. The flaming golfball Says:

    Get a life, already.

If the Scientologists are really doing something wrong, all you losers should be able to convince at least one policeman, at least one senator, at least one mayor, at least one government staffer, at least one FBI agent, somebody, ANYBODY in power who might listen to your conspiracy theories. There’s no need to protest like obnoxious hippies outside churches if you really and truly have a case against Scientology.

Go through the proper law enforcement channels and get something REAL done if you really can prove wrongdoing. And if you can’t prove wrongdoing, then what the hell are you doing picketing churches and slandering innocent people online?

  2. Reader's Write Says:

yeah man, protesting is for fags. remember when all those blacks protested about how they wanted to be treated equally? what a waste of time

  3. Free Thinker Says:

    @The flaming golfball

“If the Scientologists are really doing something wrong, all you losers should be able to convince at least one policeman, at least one senator, at least one mayor…”

Scientology has been banned in Germany, by their GOVERNMENT. Is that good enough for you, dickhead?

  4. Reader's Write Says:

“The best way to make a million is to start a religion” qoute from L Ron Hubbard founder of $cientology. These protest do make a differences and are one great way to make the public aware off the crimes by this company. Check out http://www.whyweprotest.net

  5. Reader's Write Says:

The FBI know… they are the ones that chraged half of the leadership of the Church of $cientology after their 1977 raids on Scientology.

  6. The flaming golfball Says:

I repeat, if you really have a case against the Scientology cult, take it to the proper authorities in law enforcement and government instead of just bitching about it online or carrying a homemade sign on the street.

If you can’t do that, then you have no case.

Instead of making smart-ass comebacks at ME on an online forum, call your congressman. Do something REAL just this once, m’kay?

  7. John Says:

I think it’s good what these young kids are doing. I’ve heard very little of Scientology over the years, but recently, what with seeing these flyers and protests and blogs and all that about this anonymous group, I’ve heard a lot more about them and now I know why they don’t shout out their presence to the world; they’re dirty. I’m not against freedom of religion which is why I paid no mind to Scientology before a few weeks ago, shrugging them off as a new religion, but its their business side of things that reeks of corruption and con artistry. I don’t know what their beliefs truely are, but I’ve read up about their goals and ideals of helping mankind and I say great. They believe in a better world for tomorrow. However, what the glossy websites don’t seem to mention is all the bad stuff that Scientology has carried out and still do to this day which wrecks our world. I saw a video from a concerned film-maker in, I think, Bon Aire who filmed a Scientology owned ship (their “flag ship”, if memory serves correctly.) dumping endless amounts of raw sewage in the environment. I read saddening testimonies of ex-members who under went tremendous amounts of abuse and stress.

Recently I’ve been hearing more and more about Scientology in the news, as if these anonymous people have opened the flood gates to allow reporters and the like to run stories on them. I read a news-story just the other day about a journalist who, for fear of the Church of Scientology ruining his life like they’ve done with so many other critics and reporters, said he was no longer afraid to report them. I hope these young kids keep it up, at least until people are no longer afraid to speak out about them without fear of law-suits or anything like that.

    Just my two cents.
    -John, San Fransico.

  8. Free Thinker Says:

    @The flaming golfball

I’ve just given you a real good example, but you ignore it. Now I *know* you’re trolling or a scientologist (note the small s). Muppet.

  9. brainwashed Says:

i join they scientologies becose they scienceific. they grate man!!

  10. Terryeo Says:

    @The flaming golfball:

We’re doing much more than protesting, you dickhead. We are contacting authorities and have even talked with them. Maybe you’d know if you checked out Enturbulation.org

But no, you are too much of a dickhead to even read this article. You could have figured it out.

    Go back to school.

  11. John Henry Says:

Amnesty International is investigating human rights abuses in Florida. And thank God they are.

If this is not the most abhorrent scam of all scams, then my name is John Henry: The Co$ recruits in underprivileged nations, proffering religious worker visas to recruit families to come to the US. Once here the parents are re-assigned to work elsewhere and separated from their children. The children are then forced to labour 12+ hours a day and the only schooling they are given is to study L. Ron’s “tech” after working all day. Their passports are taken, they don’t speak english well, they are carefully watched and monitored, possibly they are re-named and legal guardianship signed over to Co$. Can you say CHILD SLAVE!!!

Child services or other state agencies cannot investigate because we cannot name of a single child and do not know where they are being housed.

Shame on us Americans for allowing this despicable abuse of children to occur in OUR OWN DAMN HOUSE!!

Contact Amnesty International to express your concerns, so far they are the only organization with the chutzpa to investigate: The more emails the better. This has got to stop.

    >Amnesty International is investigating human rights abuses in Florida. And thank God they are.

I am sure they do. I heard about sweatshops in Florida. But what has this to do with anything or the Church of Scientology?

  13. spoonfull of sugar Says:

The CoS is not a traditional religion or business – therefore traditional methods are not appropriate for the task at hand, flaming golfball. This does not mean that the course of action you suggest isn’t being taken, it just seems that the current strategy being utilized may be beyond your grasp.

  14. ANONYMOUS Says:

“If the Scientologists are really doing something wrong, all you losers should be able to convince at least one policeman, at least one senator, at least one mayor, at least one government staffer, at least one FBI agent, somebody, ANYBODY in power who might listen to your conspiracy theories. There’s no need to protest like obnoxious hippies outside churches if you really and truly have a case against Scientology”

Actually during the february protest in Ireland we recieved support from leading members of multiple political parties

  15. joe-kerr Says:

Flaming golfball is in fact a scientologist. Its fairly obvious because his or her comments fall right out of a scientology playbook. selectively rational, uncooperative, incapable of seeing other peoples points of view, if you ignore it, it will go away….

  16. Cheese Says:

The flaming golfball has definitely been brainwashed by the CoS. What he seems to completely ignore is that the CoS have been caught, prosecuted, and convicted of multiple treasonous offenses… Perjury, breaking and entering government property, theft of government documents, bribery, murder…

Yet, the CoS still remains in the U.S.A. Why do they remain, because few in the U.S. know about their actions. Hence, protests improve public awareness, which pushes the government to take action.

“… convince at least one policeman…”

For the past few decades, the CoS have been convicted of the charges mentioned above. So, there are more than just one policeman listening, but over thousands of jury members, political leaders, and entire police departments.

  17. happytobeSP Says:

    @Flaming golfball,
I hope you leave the church and I hope you do it soon. I know that Sea Org members are told that if they leave they will be homeless, starving and unemployed. Well, that just isn’t true. My husband and I left the Sea Org, left the church, got declared suppressive and we’ve never been happier or more successful. I am not saying that Hubbard’s “tech” is worthless or that people should not work with it. I had some good things happen to me as a result of the early things I did in Scientology. But once I got past Clear, I have to say it was pretty nuts after that. And then came learning how David Miscavige has been altering LRH since 1986 when Miscavige took over the church. It isn’t really even Scientology any more — it’s something else entirely. So, flaming golfball, please know that we care about you and we know how hard it is to keep pretending that you don’t see all the abuses and all the lies. You CAN leave and you WILL be all right. There are plenty of resources, just google ex-Sea Org and you’ll find phone numbers and websites. We will help you get free.

  18. Thirty something Says:

Great job to Anon. One group heavily targeted by cults is the young adult population so it is especially great to see the targets telling the cult to go to hell. Good Job!! By speaking out like this you are saving others from falling prey to this evil. Keep it up.

One suggestion set up a foundation of your own. You can then accept your own tax deductible donations to fight the cult. Many of us in our 30’s and 40’s are totally behind you but because of children and other obligations can’t take it to the streets. However, we are at a place in life where writing a check for $500.00 or $1000.00 to support a great cause is not a big deal. Think about it. I would advise you make sure that their is only ONE so people know it is valid.

The only down side of a foundation is 3 people will have to give their names and address to the IRS and it is public info. With Scientologies history of fair game it is a risk. The plus side is that it will fund this movement so it last more than a year or two. To destroy this cult you will need to go after them for a decade or more.

  19. Reader's Write Says:

http://www.mininova.org/tor/1219940 Shows a lot of what anon is doing, mainly their protests.

  20. Reader's Write Says:

    To flaming golfball

There have been hundreds of suits against Scientology and they always lose sooner or later. If you are inside the cult, you would not know this because they only tell you lies and you believe them. If they really wanted you to “find out for yourself” as they claim, they would let you look things up on the internet and the court system yourself without declaring you PTS (potential trouble source) or SP (suppressive person).

I didn’t know until I left and found out the truth myself.

Keep up the good work posting everything that Anonymous is doing worldwide to spread the truth and raise awareness about this cult.

  21. Anoynymause Says:

Before I start, I’d like to apologize to Flaming Goofball for the people calling him a dickhead and junk like that; it’s really not necessary.
I don’t believe that the Flaming Goofball is a troll, nor is he a Scientologist; however, he seems to be oblivious of the fact that members of congress and police are being contacted, and that the protests generate public awareness of this problem. The Church of Scientology feverently denies all these allegations, backed-up by their powerful legal team. They usually win the lawsuits that’re held against them on technicalities, however. If enough pressure, by the general public, is done on politicians and policemen, then an inquiry will hopefully be held against the Church of Scientology, thoroughly and legally. And then, it will crumble.
I don’t think you really know anything about CoS’s legal history, but are rather making blanket statements about any movement. I encourage you to visit sites such as http://www.xenu.net and http://www.exscientologykids.com, and to googled “Operation Freakout” and “Operation Snow White” before making any more attacking comments.

And to Lu: You quoted only the first sentence. What does this have to do with Scientology? It’s an opening statement to a post that was COMPLETELY revelant with the Church of Scientology. I understand that you have hours to finish in, and that you must go through a lot of auditing, and feverently work around the clock, making sure that no one is speaking illy of Scientology, but… give it up. Honestly, look into your life. You’ll see Scientology isn’t as great as you imagine it to be, and chances are you’ve doubted the Tech and David Mischaviage on more than one occasion.

April will be the month of Operation Reconnect. To any Scientologist out there, I’d suggest you to try and get ahold of a representant of this operation, and go back to your loved ones — outside of the Church. You are humans, and you have rights. You don’t have to be giving a lot of money just to practice your beliefs (Free Zone would be more than happy to welcome you). You shouldn’t be forced to work 16-hour days, six days a week, doing tasks that you don’t necessarily understand or support. You don’t have to be told what to do, every day, by people in a position of authority. You can be as free as anyone else.

  22. Reader's Write Says:

This just brings in more newfags to /b/. Not that I even go to that shithole anymore now that we have /r9k/.

    COUGH.

  24. Anonymuse Says:

Anonymous will be able have protests every month indefinitely because Anonymous is supported by every pharmaceutical company in the world. They are supporting us because Scientology is denying people the prescriptins they need for their anxiety, depression, ADD and many more.

  25. Terryeieio Says:

People talk about how you cannot join Scientology without paying hundeds of thousands of dollars but I am here to say that is just not true. If a person wants to enjoy the benifits of scientology but cannot pay they can just sign on as staff!! While it is true that an 90 hour work week is not for everyone and the $70 a week pay may seem kind of low, you can earn 5% of the take from everyone you convince to get on board. You will enjoy the company of people that look like you, dress like you and think like you, or else they get sent to one of scientolog’s RPF (rehabilitation project force) camps where they will be gently instruced in the error of their ways. And since we call it a church, labor laws do not apply, so if you are thirteen, hey thats old enough for us! And if you want to join our elite SEA ORG not only are obortions free, they are mandatory!!

  26. x Says:

Scientology day, nah! It’s peanut butter jelly time, man!

  27. Synonymous Says:

Thirtysomething says “One suggestion set up a foundation of your own. You can then accept your own tax deductible donations to fight the cult. ”

What? And become an organization similiar to the one being protested? Must we always become the thing we hate most? Power corrupts – tax exempt status corrupts absolutely.

If you can spare some change, look towards funding Wise Beard Man’s documentary.

  28. moneen Says:

Keep up the democratic right to disagree with Scientology when this is required.
If Scientology ruled the world disagreement with it would be outlawed.
However allow those who agree with Scientology to exercise their democratic choice.

  29. Reader's Write Says:

“but cannot pay they can just sign on as staff!!”

You mean sign on as slave.

It is like in the ancien time BC in Rome. If you could not pay your debt you will be sold as a slave.

Scientology is a Bulshit cult based on a BS story draw from a third rate science-fiction novel writen by a psychopatic Nazi!

Next and before you know it you are going to build the next Miscavige’s Mansion for free as a slave!

    Go for it!

  30. Reader's Write Says:

“And if you can’t prove wrong-doing, then what the hell are you doing picketing churches and slandering innocent people online?”

    A Human parasite piping out!

They must be a limit in the exploitation of human by human!

Now they invent BS cults such as Scientology to rob and exploit thousand of gullible people at a time!

If you think about it there is some similarity between the music industry and sicentology save for the fact that Scientology is much much WORST, Up to the point that people die!

Sooner or later Scientology will be banned world wide. Mark my world.

  31. Reader's Write Says:

“They are supporting us because Scientology is denying people the prescriptins they need for their anxiety, depression, ADD and many more.”

Between The Cold: the “pharmaceutical industry” and The Plague: “Scientology”, who do you think I will support?

  32. Reader's Write Says:

This is the begining of the end for the Scientology Corporation because now we know about it.

  33. Reader's Write Says:

“If the Scientologists are really doing something wrong, all you losers”

They must be a limit to the exploitation of human by human! The Scientology corporation have broken this limit.

This is the begining of the end for the Scientology corporation because now the world know about them!

  34. Bob Nibbs (friend of Terryeieio) Says:

Oh yes, I’ll second all that Terryeieio says.

I love being inside our little organisation. :) Being able to get away with civil rights abuses, such as the child slave labor that my friend talked about is fantastic! Now, for the child sex that we do. Oh my God!!! The orgasms for us grown ups are the best there is, ever. Seeing an 8 year old little girl orgasm right along with us is wonderful, especially with anal. (They are really uninhibited, you know). That young, tender skin… oh don’t get me started. (feeling hot now)

It’s a really fascinating sight to see perfectly functional human beings suppressed into dysfunctional slaves to our ‘church’. (The top nobs make so much money this way, it’s almost unbelievable).

We are currently working on a way to get away with murder (we kinda do already in some circumstances). When we figure this one out, we’ll be sure to share it with you. hehe :) :)

  35. moneen Says:

Repeat. The democratic choice to disagree & protest against Scientology is a political right.
The democratic choice to be do & have Scientology is a political right.
I personally disagree with alot about how Scientology is constituted but also agree with much of its knowledge.
Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

  36. CORPORATION of Scientology Says:

Scientology has tried to stop the protest from Anonymous thought the courts. Well the CORPORATION didn’t get request as it not person but a CORPORATION and that from a judge. The judge decided not to call it a church but a CORPORATION.

    http://www.factnet.org/?p=293

PS Where was voilance that CORPORATION of Scientology expected to happen today.

  37. Jason Says:

BAD NEWS for jackass! Nope – Scientology is not “banned in Germany” to get the facts straight. Scientology has been under German government wire taps, you name it for the last 10 years…but still can’t find crap to shut them down. So yeah, not even the nazi’s can ban Scientology from their own country. Fact of the matter is it should never be. Unless you are going to ban every other religion in the world. The only thing wrong with Scientology is just this….. its run and used by people (who anyone can agree are far from perfect).

  38. Rekrul Says:

“Fact of the matter is it should never be. Unless you are going to ban every other religion in the world.”

Scientology is not and never was a religion. It is a money-making scam created by L. Ron Hubbard to fleece dim-witted people out of their money. Religions are based on real beliefs. but the only thing LRH believed was that he wanted to get rich.

“The only thing wrong with Scientology is just this….. its run and used by people (who anyone can agree are far from perfect).”

No, what’s wrong with scientology is that it is corrupt to its very core.
