		<description>GtkPod doesn&#039;t have this problem. I use it on linux, and it can restore your music library without any problems. I believe winamp has the same functionality on windoze.</description>

		<description>I am sorry, but this has been a problem with iTunes, from it&#039;s inception.  

That is why there are so many &quot;freeware&quot; that allow you to restore the files from you iPOD.

He should have done a simple search for iPOD tools, before paying such a high price.
