Bwahahahahaha! oh god! that article made me laugh so hard! that MPAA! I swear it looked like it was just a spoof!

Those damn MPAA greedy bastards! its just plain amazing how greedy these corporate executives are. Seriously, when you have $500 million, what difference does it make if you make another $50 million?? you already have a lot more money than you'll get to spend in your whole lifetime even if you splurge everyday!! .... its just plain ridiculous....

As far as digitaly copying media: even if them silly moronic politicians make etched in stone laws that say it is illegal, it isn't! why? because everything we do online on our computers is not real! its imaginary! its virtual!

Think about it! I have been sitting for half a day in front of a big plastic box with a glass screen that emits lights that give the illusion of text and graphics! But did I actually do anything all this time?? no! All I did was press these litte plastic keys with letters on them many times while shaking a thing that is supposed to look like a mouse! ....I bet you never thought of it this way before!

These corporate bafoons (A.K.A. "corpies") claim that digitaly copying media is causing them to lose so much money, but the truth is they didn't sell us anything for them to lose said money! Remember, digital copies are not real! they're imaginary! they're illusions! They are just so mad because they can't make money off these imaginary virtual copies of their products!

Why is it illegal to Copyright Media? Why aren't we able to? Why is this such a problem? Do you think we should be able to share copyrighted media? I think that we should....What do you think? Tell me about it

Not only that, but when I was young, I used to LET my friends copy my homework. It made me feel good that I was helping someone who was having trouble holding his own.
Another thing that twists my kidneys is the rewarding of essays regarding illegallity of filesharing with DVD players, DVD movies, cinema tickets and trips to hollywood. In case forcing them to believe untrue propaganda doesn't work, they've decided to tempt the kids to accept this new belief system. I will hold a street party with performances by independent musicians playing covers of anyone who's ever held a grudge against filesharing (ie Metallica, Eminem, etc) the day the RIAA collapses.

Quote: "The students played roles such as 'The Film Producer,' 'The Starving Artist,' and were asked questions such as 'Has anyone ever copied your homework? How did this make you feel?'"

Now I'm not usually one that takes the time to make my loud opinionated voice heard online but this makes me mad. I'm not sure of the age of these kids but I'm sure they can find a better metaphor for putting accross their capitalist viewpoint than "Has anyone ever copied your homework?".
Homework isnt an artistic statement made to get your point out to the world (which most music is, or should be). Homework is something you do to re-enforce ideas that youve learnt in school, and to track the competance of teachers.
I just hope by the time I've got kids, people like me are in power and are making changes for the better of the world, cause this sort of propaganda in schools is morally wrong.

Peace out music lovers xx

Quote (...guidance that will positively influence their growth as good cyber citizens and their respect for digital copyrighted works," says Diane Smiroldo, BSA vp of public affairs.)

Do they know the difference between earned and forced respect? If you keep a dog chained up all the time what does it do when that chain breaks? Kids aren't stupid, they know B.S. when they smell it just like everybody else.
