CrossOver Linux Professional 6.2

p2pnet news | Open Source:- Linspire and CodeWeavers have launched CrossOver Linux Professional 6.2 for immediate download.

CrossOver Linux is available to Freespire 2.0, Linspire 6.0, Ubuntu 7.04 and 7.10 (32 bit) users and will soon expand to additional popular desktop Linux distributions, say the companies.

Available at a “special introductory price” of $60, CrossOver Linux allows users to install popular Windows productivity applications, plugins and games in Linux, without needing a Microsoft Operating System license.

It includes a single click interface and once installed, integrates seamlessly with Gnome or KDE environment, promise Linspire and CrossOver .

Windows applications supported include Microsoft Office, Outlook, Visio, and Internet Explorer; Adobe’s Photoshop, Macromedia’s Dreamweaver, Intuit’s Quicken and QuickBooks, and Lotus Notes. Games supported include World of Warcraft, Team Fortress II and Call of Duty 2.
