Charleton Heston: dead at 84

p2pnet news | Movies:- Actor Charleton Heston is dead at the age of 84.
In his latter years, he was possibly as famous for his "I’ll give you my gun when you take it from my cold, dead hands" declaration as president and spokesman of America’s National Rifle Association as for his role as Moses in The Ten Commandments, or the marooned astronaut in Planet of the Apes.
In August, 2002, "Heston announced that he had received a diagnosis of neurological symptoms ‘consistent with Alzheimer’s disease’," says the New York Times.
"For an actor there is no greater loss than the loss of his audience," he said, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"I can part the Red Sea, but I can’t part with you . . . "

We lost a great American patriot. Loved him on the screen and thought he was a great man, who stood by his convictions. Will miss him! God Bless his family.
