Olympic torch extinguished in Paris

p2pnet news | Freedom:- Protesters in Paris forced police to extinguish the Olympic torch as it set off across the city.

The flame started out at the Eiffel Tower, "amid tight security and was being carried down a road next to the Seine near demonstrators carrying Tibetan flags," says the Press Association.

"About 3,000 police riding motorcycles, jogging or travelling on skates were deployed to protect the Olympic torch," it says.

The Paris leg of the relay, " was accompanied by 48 police cars, 65 motorcycles, 100 policemen on roller blades, and 100 jogging firemen whose aim was to avert protests such as those that held up the flame’s progress through London yesterday," says Bloomberg News.

In other words, protesters are making their point, whether China and the Olympic committee like it or not.

This show exactly who’s pocket the governments of the U.K., P.S.A., and France are in. Between the governments and mammoth international corporations, the average citizen of any nation does not stand a chance unless each citizen stands up for him or herself as well as others. The fact that the French governments would spend the funds for 3000 people to protect that hideous thing shows people EXACTLY who’s side the governments are on and it “ain’t” the oppressed. Those who run the Olympics, the participating governments, as well as the repressive government in China are a bunch of cowards. The policy makers have their minions and foot soldiers do their dirty work, Well, this time the citizens succeeded in getting the torch extinguished. This is a huge publicity blow to all of those governments promoting the Olympics. It is definitely a victory for freedom loving citizens of all countries.

As usual it’s all about money power and greed, not the common person.
I think it ironic that the olympic torch is supposed to be a symbol of peace when the games come directly from the elite fighters of Greece!
It was about how good you were at handling weapons, now it’s still about ego but more about money.

  3. Stray Mongrel Says:

It would be hilarious to see those protesters waving Communist China flags, and then bumrush the torch, and ignite the flags using the “Olympic Flame”, and then have it make World Headlines.

I am laughing just thinking about it…

A small group of parasites randshake the world.

My love go to the people of Tibet and the people of China. They both need our help.

I am after governements and the rogues corporations that corrupt them, full of pests and parasites.

    Extreme capitalism=Communism.

    Same problem same solution. Exterminate!
