RIAA nails George W. Bush for file sharing

p2pnet news | RIAA News:- “RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) chieftain Mitch Bainwol today hand-delivered a p2p file sharing subpoena to US president George W. Bush, say sources,” p2pnet posted almost exactly two years ago, going on >>>

George W. has been video-taped openly admitting he plays music by The Beatles on the BushPod.

The Big Four Organized Music cartel’s RIAA is now after him for stealing copyrighted downloads.

“We have to be seen to be scrupulously fair,” says Bainwol.”

Riiiight.

The likelihood of that happening is akin to Warner boss Edgar Bronfman jr’s kids getting nailed for sharing music.

But now it’s déjà vu all over again

“In a recent Fox News interview, Bush shared his affection for iPods, showed the music player and revealed a portion of his playlist,” says TG Daily, continuing >>>

As it appears, Bush ripped Beatles music from CDs and copied it to the music player. As we all should know, this is a big no-no, at least according to the RIAA. Is Bush breaking the law?

The President confessed his love for the iPod to Brit Hume, who talked to Bush on air at the end of that when the interview was almost over and the microphone actually already had been turned down. Hume got a glimpse of an iPod sitting on a desk behind Bush, which prompted the journalist to ask the President about iPods and music.

In our flick, George W. admits he has Beatles tunes, among a ton of others.

That was a couple of years ago, giving the RIAA plenty of time to get the US president into court on charges of illegally downloading copyrighted owned songs by one or other of Warner Music, EMI, Vivendi Universal and Sony BMG, the members of the big four organise music gang.

And the RIAA didn’t even have to use MediaSentry or Doug Jacobson to get evidence.

The Fox YouTube video proves without a shadow of doubt that Bush has neither repented nor learned the error of his ways as he continues to publicly flaunt his obvious guilt.

Below is a more recent YouTube video of George W similarly breaking the law.

Bit late for April Fool’s? Seriously, can you see him losing in court? Who’s to say that he didn’t buy them anyway? Besides, mine says it’s ok to copy CDs onto them. If he wants some legal arguments just ask me.

  7. Lionel Poorie Says:

The whole point of the article, Lionel, is that there is a distinct probability that even the ‘Great Leader’ of the ‘Free World’ and his family are ‘Stealing Music’ from ‘artists’.
(we all know that most of the money doesn’t go to the bulk of artists, it goes to the industry and these dubious, secular regulatory bodies)

In all of the sue ‘em all cases, this would be the only one with a televised confession of guilt witnessed by millions beforehand, instead of the illegal hack session of inadmissable evidence, threats and harassment.

I suppose the Pres’ is one of the few criminals who can afford the prohibitive costs of retrospective music purchase and even if filed, such a case would be unlikely to tarnish his reputation any further.

  8. Ryan Scheel Says:

Haha, the president of the US being able to pay for that? The US president doesn’t make much money. Well, there is the oil this president has though…

  9. B_Easy24 Says:

If I were the president and some music cartel tried to sue me for “piracy” I wold nullify their existance by the passage of a law pronto.
