Imeem buys Snocap: confirmed
p2pnet news | Products:- Shawn Fanning’s Snocap may be on the verge of total meltdown, p2pnet posted last year, wondering, “Is it finally going under?”
It was, we went on in February, “and the new owner is music streaming site Imeem, for an undisclosed price“.
We thought it was already a done deal.
But apparently not.
Imeem, itself once an independent music service accused of copyright infringement, “said Monday it has agreed to acquire Snocap,” says Associated Press.
As we also said in our original post, “Fanning, meanwhile, is now focused on his latest venture, Rupture, an, “online destination connecting gamers around the world, allowing them to share gaming experiences, events, challenges and achievements”.
