One can say that it depends on the follower but when their holy book is saying to do such horrible acts, the possibility of misusing the religion for harm overcomes any positive aspects for it. The educated use the Koran to rile the uneducated masses of the Islam world, of the third world countries. Compare their actions to the Nazi's if you can't grasp the reality of which we live in. They are living in a modern society but still following the tribal rules of their past. The laws of the desert where not meant for the civilized man.
