My Beautiful Mommy

p2pnet news | Off Topic:- First we had Bimbo, an online ‘game’ aimed at girls as young as nine who sign up so they can pretend to have breast implants and tart themselves up to attract men.

Now, meet My Beautiful Mommy.

“As I got older, my body stretched and I couldn’t fit into my clothes anymore,” says Mum.

So the nice Dr Michael, “is going to help fix that and make me feel better,” she tells her daughter. And that’ll also make her look, “not just different, my dear - prettier!” - says the Ottawa Citizen, quoting from the book, written by a Florida plastic surgeon.

Says Times Online >>>

It helps kids to cope with what happens when mummy gets a tummy tuck, a nose job, breast implants, and becomes unrecognisable.

It’s about time this book came along. For years children have been very confused. Mummy used to look tired, fat and old. But then one day, she went away and when she came home she looked perpetually surprised.

Kids are perceptive. When mommy read the part about the Big Bad Wolf huffing and puffing her face didn’t move. Also her boobs looked like two parked cars.

Now there’s a picture book to explain it all.

The plastic surgeon is drawn to resemble a cartoon Superman on steroids. And naturally there’s a happy ending. Mummy ends up “even more” beautiful then before and her daughter is delighted.

No child should suffer from having an unattractive mother.

How long before it shows up online?

Not long. Count on it.

Next in the series will be, Mummy Needs a Brain Transplant.

Ugh, I heard about this on Wait, Wait. . .Don’t Tell Me. What a horrible reminder of how vain and vapid our society is.

  2. Reader's Write Says:

“No child should suffer from having an unattractive mother.”

As if the children care! What a pack of moron!

  3. Reader's Write Says:

I think “My Franken-Mommy” would be a more appropriate title.

  4. Vehement Says:

Who cares if someone is ugly?
Many people say I am good-looking all the time and you know what I wish people would not like me for my looks but for my mind!
I’m so sick of this messed up society!

People in these days definitely don’t know what’s important in these days!

    face=not important
    nature of person/their heart/personality = important

  5. Reader's Write Says:

    Where is the download link?

  6. Sick retards Says:

This is freaking nasty…. Great things to put into kids heads… If only they put the same effort they put into trying to stop kids from becoming pirates into stopping wierd shit like this. Great thing to say, “No child should suffer from having an unattractive mother.” Bet the author’s mom had so many boob jobs she couldn’t see her toes anymore….

  7. Kat Says:

I do not think this is as bad as so many have made it out to be. The Doctor simply created a tool for his patients… So what if it’s about plastic surgery? You’d be surprised about the things kids ask and know these days.

  8. bah Says:

Kat, it’s not a question of knowing, it’s a question of presentation. The book is presenting this sort of dehumanizing narcisism as a normal, healthy thing, which it isn’t. It’s one thing to teach a child what plastic surgery is, but it’s another whether that knowledge content comes with a positive or negative judgment. Some think you can present the knowledge without a judgment, but those people are simply blind in their blissful ignorance of their own lack of objectivity. So, is vanity plastic surgery good or bad? You may think you’re not teaching your children one or the other, but you most assuredly are, whether you know it or not.

  9. Sio Says:

What happens if you getan infection or the surgery goes wron. What do you say to your kids when your dead……….

“Now Mrs Lowry, try to relax. You must trust me. I’ll make you twenty years younger … twenty-five if we just drain the excess fluid from the pouches …”
(From the film “Brazil” - 1985 - Terry Gilliam. A must see IMHO)

  11. beeb oh Says:

How about Bebo which claims users will be banned for uploading porn. “We ain’t no porn site” they claim. However you should see all the filth that’s available as modules from their supporters for kids to add to their profile pages. Plus they get away with it.

  12. Carol Says:

Why doesn’t someone write a book for kids that doesn’t confuse beauty with being wealthy or famous? Like….My mommy is beautiful because: 1.) She is MINE! She belongs to me. 2.) She is the source and orgin of my life! I grew inside her. 3.) She gave birth/produced me! Labor IS NOT a pleasure cruise. 4.) She looks just like my Granny and just like me at the same time! How horrible it will be for surgery to hide generational links. 5.) She has just had a baby and it took her 9 mons. to gain 30 lbs. and it just might take her 9 mons. to loose it! She doesn’t have access to chefs and trainers and that’s O.K. For Your Information….she also has stretch marks. 6.) She cares for, protects, and loves me more than ANYTHING!
My Mommy is beautiful just the way she is!

  13. Mostly Harmless Says:

Carol, being wealthy or famous (best go for both) not only automatically makes you more beautiful, it also makes you better than other people. Ask anyone who is ultra wealthy. Next you’ll be telling kids that real beauty comes from the inside! You just can’t go around warping young minds like that… ;-)

  14. Pecoso Says:

I once was told… “Don’t worry mommy won’t make it”, I was 8. I am 30 now and I think I would of liked a better explanation. Now on days kids can just turn to Television and watch far worse things. I think this book is being totally misunderstood.
