This whole thing has been nothing but a three ring circus. The cop is probably thinking that he'll have another chance at a double pay income if he will slant his testimony as payback down the road. Time after time, we see that the attempts at taking the moral highroad is nothing but a sham put on for a good show. When the truth comes out, the moral highroad is known of but never taken.
