I'm still waiting for that apology! What do you have egg on your face now that you've seen what I actual wrote to the CRTC! Tough--that's life but to insult someone based on your incorrect knowledge/assumption of that person and then not make amends after you realize that you were wrong makes you look like an immature ass!

So be man--swallow your pride, admit that you insulted me without knowing the details of what I actual wrote to the CRTC and then apologize to me!!

I'm waiting...ticktock...ticktock...and now a word from you.

To Wangster and Company:

You all are angry with ME? With little old insignificant me for complaining! First, you DID NOT READ MY INQUIRY! You really are pathetic! I DID NOT and I repeat DID NOT E-mail a complaint, I E-mailed a legal inquiry! That’s a huge difference! So before you elitists get all high and mighty with me, be prepared to humble yourselves by reading the following link: http://www.p2pnet.net/story/15695#comment-432976

This is when I first told this forum what I submitted to the CRTC, I’m the 3rd comment down and be sure to further humble yourselves on this same page by reading my reply to Gabriel, that’s the 7th comment down. I as Canadian have every legal right to inquire about the details of public contracts and that’s what I was doing, you idiots--NOT COMPLAINING!! Finally, I have every right to suggest that the CTRC licensing system be overhauled into order to break-up our present-day monopolistic TV, Phone and Internet licensees that have been given Canadian cabling rights to transmit any and all electronic signals they like without any sort of formulaic regulations enforced by the licensor (CRTC)!

So first read, then apologize for insulting me!

This all comes down to contacting the right level of government. The CRTC has a limited roll in telecom policy, and can only deal with specific types of issues.

What has been missing is letters to members of parliament, who do have the mandate to listen to us. This is also one of those situations where you only write your OWN MP, and not any others as no MP other than your own has a mandate to communicate with you. If you want to expand to other people, write to the riding associations for the other parties in your riding and see if you can find out what the position of their candidate will be in the next election.

If you get answers, pleas consider posting to the Digital Copyright Canada site: http://www.digital-copyright.ca -- we have the site set up to group together articles that are about a specific riding so you can look up what your MP or past election candidates said on related issues.

I submitted a complaint to the CRTC a few days ago asking them why they didn't inform the public (which are very much interested in this) that there was a delay in the CAIP filing. I told them they should be putting all relevant notices online so we can follow it.

Its there now.

I know everyone likes to complain about the Government, but sometimes you should stop and think before ranting.

When you submit a complaint on the web site you got a standard reply saying they would investigate!!?! Oh the horror! The nerve of the CRTC not to personally reply to every single letter the second it's received. As a tax payer I expect every single government agency to have someone personally assigned to me just waiting for my complaint!

And what's this? The CRTC only investigates companies that they regulate!?!? What a bunch of idiots!

Why can't I file my complaints against airlines, pet food companies, Canada Post, and banks with the CRTC? What kind of crappy government agency is this?

I certainly won't argue the CRTC is perfect, but your rant make no sense.
