Arriving at Holborn police station in London, she looked, “teary and distressed,” says the BBC.
“She appeared tiny, as she was surrounded by minders, onlookers and the media. Indeed, hundreds of people had been waiting through the afternoon to catch a glimpse of her. She is one of Britain’s biggest pop stars.
“But her life continues to ricochet between musical success and personal disaster.”
Winehouse, now reputedly worth close to $22 million, was questioned about a, “street brawl in which she allegedly attacked two men in the early hours of Wednesday,” says the Daily Mail.
She spent the night in jail after being arrested on suspicion of assault, says the BBC in another story.
When she originally arrived at the station, “such was her state that a doctor deemed her ‘unfit to be interviewed’,” says the Daily Mail, adding:
“The star’s arrival in a blacked-out people carrier shortly after 5pm caused a media frenzy with some 200 press and fans jamming the street.
As she raced up the steps, “she pushed away her security guard’s arm and turned to sneer at the wall of photographers restrained in pens on either side of her”.

Poor girl.
It’s so sad that she is such an amazing artist, yet she is having so many issues.
I wonder what she would be like without her addiction problem?

She really shoulda gone to rehab. And if anyone wants to know how to avoid fights, stay at home instead of hanging out at pubs n clubs. That’s where u go to find em.

O so misinformed. She is one of the most well known drug addicts in Britain, that much is true. Popular? not a chance.
