Pystar Mac McClone, the movie

p2pnet news | Cool Stuff:- It’s real!!!
The McClone, Psystar’s $400 OpenMac Leopard compatible Mac built from standard PC-parts.
To prove it, Patrick (Whiskeyfrown) does a boot-up and walk-around on Gizmodo.
And all in living colour.
Well, not quite.
But there is a not-bad video showing the purported Mac mimic in all its glory.
“The thing boots up and runs pretty damn fast, says Patrick, but Software Update won’t recognize it so you won’t be able to patch,” according to the post, which adds:
“System Profiler thinks that it’s a Mac Pro.”
Definitely stay tuned.

The rabid Apple fans are getting twisted up over this, I find it horribly amusing. Especially the parts where they claim Apple will sue people for buying this PC.
Ouch, my side hurts…

McClone? Sounds like a genetically modified cheeseburger from McDonald’s (which ironcally, I’m sure would contain a significantly larger amount of beef than everything else on the menu).

It’s the title to an Apple cowboy movie.
Pystar Mac McClone has a certain ring to it, don’t you think?
Cheers!
