If you watch the Vanity Fair video of the shoot, she DOES show ankle.

I don’t think she looks very good here with the makeup and frizzy hair, but when she’s just being herself, she’s not that bad looking for a girl her age.
I don’t see anything bad about the bare-back photos. I would think people would have a bigger issue with the way she and her father were acting during the photo shoot. In the video it shows Miley lying across her father’s leg while he holds her and has one hand on her leg. Then as she looks up at him, he brushes the hair out off her forehead and then kisses her forehead.
Don’t get me wrong, when people mention stuff like this, I’m usually one of the first to dismiss it as them projecting their own hangups onto an innocent situation. Maybe they are just a normal, close family, but if you swapped Miley and Billy Ray for Brad and Angelina, it wouldn’t look so innocent anymore.
I doubt there’s actually anything to it, it just tends to give off the wrong kind of vibe.

ok just to let u kno alot of tweens my age luv tht sho now seeing wht she has done i think she becoming another person shes supposed to be a roll model for little kids and tweens i dont even like the fact tht shes turning into a vannessa H. or lindsay L. (no affence) but its tru shes not who i thought she would be my fave show used to be hannah montana now its the suite life of zack and cody! i just dont want to see her anymore!
