Free Coldplay track online

p2pnet news | Music:- It’s happening more and more.

While Vivendi Universal, EMI, Warner Music and Sony BMG whine and grizzle about how they’re being “devastated” by their corrupt file sharing customers, individual performers and bands are looking to the Net as the medium of delivery in the 21st digital century with Coldplay the latest group to acknowledge cyberspace is where it’s at.

“For years, people have been clamouring that Coldplay’s music isn’t worth paying for,” the Guardian says, going on:

“Now, at last, the band themselves are bowing to pressure. Their new single, tickets to two upcoming concerts – yes, they’re giving it all away for free.”

Starting today, Violet Hill, the first single from the group’s new record, is available online for free.

But don’t get carried away. This is a limited time offer.

“If you’re going to take advantage, do it quick,” say the story. Because in another week, “you’ll have to pay for the thing to get it from iTunes”.

At 4:20 am Pacific, we got, “The operation timed out when attempting to contact coldplay.com.”

    NOO!
    They did it all wrong!
If you have something (digital) to offer for free and you can expect that many people want it, you do not use “top to bottom” ditribution from your own server!

    you read
    http://www.utorrent.com/torrent.php

if you have a windows installation at home then you go to
    http://www.utorrent.com/download.php

you do what you have read at point 1

    you then go to
    http://thepiratebay.org/register

and if you register with an email address that is from your official site then the admins/mods there are extra nice to your torrent!

That way you can get the stuff you want to give away out for sure without frustrating your fans with an overrun server!

So if you end up having “01 Violet Hill.MP3″ some times later in a shared folder, will THAT one be on a RIAA list too like other coldplay songs have surfaced If I remember correctly from court papers read via recordingindustryvspeople.blogspot.com ?
