Hollywood’s MPAA dogs another school

p2pnet news | MPAA News:- If any p2pnet readers have children at the Douglas MacArthur Elementary School in Northern Virginia, it’s time to yank them out there, and fast, while they’re still able to think for themselves.
It’s the latest American school to be on the receiving end of visits from Lucky and Flo, the two black labradors used by Hollywood mind manipulation specialists.
“The two dogs were taken to the Clover Avenue Elementary School in Los Angeles as part of what will undoubtedly become a whole slew of ‘educational’ trips aimed at continuing the campaign that intellectual property law should be an essential component of school curricula, along with reading, writing and ‘rithmetic,” p2pnet posted recently, continuing >>>
“The dogs, Lucky and Flo, assist law enforcement agencies throughout the world,” burbles KNBC TV.
Not quite.
Malaysia is so far the only country to have swallowed the Hollywood BS.
And sniffing out pirated DVD movies?
Not quite.
L&F had been trained to detect certain chemicals used in the manufacture of optical discs —- any optical discs.
Think about it.
The MPAA has now been forced to admit, “Lucky and Flo are able to detect but unable to distinguish between CDs and DVDs, burned and replicated discs, or legitimate and pirate discs”.
In other words, they’re just hooks for Hollywood BS and in the latest travesty at the Douglas MacArthur Elementary School to the, “MPAA teamed up with renowned Internet safety expert Dr. Parry Aftab to talk with Douglas MacArthur’s fourth and fifth graders about the importance of copyright protection,” says the MPAA.
Renowned Internet safety expert Dr. Parry Aftab?
Aftab and her “award-winning” Teenangels and Tweenangels, “shared information with the students,” says the MPAA
Teenangels and Tweenangels: you’ve heard of them, too, right?
The Douglas MacArthur debacle is being linked to another Hollywood farce, World Intellectual Property Day starring Jackie Chan.

I don’t see public support backing this set of characters like the public support behind that such as “McGruff the crime dog”
On face value, this campaign seems entirely (and comically) ridiculous.

Surely any kids old enough to think for themselves will see through this as propaganda rather than educational. But I guess if they can manipulate millions of kids into becoming sickly vegetarians through talking animals, who knows? Not to offend those people, but kids don’t understand how to compensate their diet for the lack of protein, and nor do many adults.
As far as teachers and the education dept goes, well they are easily duped and persuaded obviously.

These poor dogs think they are doing something useful. Isn’t it animal abuse?

haha and then the anti social youth says “what is piracy?” and his buddy goes “here it is”
just like dope, the more press they give the more they make it happen.
Instead of doing somehting like taggin net accounts with a liscense fee for p2p use and leaving us all alone they decide to use nazi style propaganda.
Yup proves the point the USA is becoming what my grand father faught against.
I guess hte real message here is:
“RIAA HAS NO FAITH IN YOUR PARENTS TEACHING YOU PROPERLY AND DECIDES TO DO IT FOR YOU”
