“From 1945 through 1983 he had 145 charted songs, including 28 number-one hits.”
Arnold died, yesterday, only a few days from celebrating his 90th birthday, says Billboard, going on:
“Arnold was also a savvy businessman, investing in hundreds of acres of real estate and other business concerns.”
His 100th album, ‘After All This Time,’ was released in 2005 on RCA.”

Well, really, I’ve no idea, who he was, but, 100 albums! Oh, man, I never listen to country music, but especially, stuff that, say, was made like, 60 years before I was, er, born.

The reason he released so many albums is due to the short term memory loss of the average country music listener. It’s like, “Oh, I’ve never heard anything like that before” after buying the same album 30x with the same old songs on it.
It’s a record companies dream come true, played out in the land of the free.
