The music industry cartel plays their songs for free on our TVs and radios, in our cars, and in the shops on a 24 hour basis until you can't get it out of your head and then they sue for millions those who choose not to buy them. They are crooks. An mp3 is worth nothing, it can be reproduced at zero cost at no loss to the record industry cartel and if I was TorrentSpy I would not pay the money grubbing zionist criminals the shit off my shoe.

You know what they'll do as a last resort DON'T you? They'll be blowing up all our PCs, and maybe our homes as well; or perhaps they'll just have them auctioned off with the proceeds going to them.

Never short of an idiotic new idea are they? After letting a propaganda tactic play out for all it's seemingly worth, it's on to the next "order of business".

"Colleges that have received 50 or more infringement notices in the past year are required to “reasonably attempt” to prevent infringement over their networks."

Well, that explains the metric-ass-load of DMCA notices the RIAA has been excreting on "certain" colleges.

There's one other problem... people learn how to program fairly effectively in during "higher education"... for example, years ago a student from my school (McMaster University) wrote and implemented a very efficient file-sharing program that was used quite extensively on campus for a few years (but then he graduated, started his own company, and refused to license the university to continue using it, so we made the switch to DC++)... point is, us college kids are smarter then the RIAA/MPAA believes

Why stop there? Let's force schools, workplaces and all venues where people can congregate to police an activity that is a CIVIL MATTER.

Until these idiots stop treating everyone like a thief then that's exactly what they are forcing countless thousands of principled individuals to do.

There's also tons of ways to make traffic less recognizable. Bell Canada knows that well enough to have implemented some rather Orwellian whitelist-based throttling and look at how we're reacting to that.
