Regarding the rest of the story, it seems clear the intention is to frustrate the efforts of children looking for music to cause them to give up, but the “hard core” element who head off to Limewire and Kazaa are in line for music industry spam and scams with every search showing fakes which redirect to their own evil sites and lure them into something nasty like downloading a trojan or virus, and maybe finding out their personal details etc.
