Online ‘Grab Olympic Torch’ plan

p2pnet news | Freedom:- A 25-year-old Chinese surfer, identified only as Tang, was arrested after he’d posted a chat room plan about organizing a group to grab the torch when it arrives in Nanjing, near Zhenjiang on May 24,” says All Headline News.
Tang was charged with allegedly, “spreading rumor online and disturbing public order and will be detained for 10 days, according to an official in the public security bureau, who would give only his surname Zhang,” says the story, going on:
“Authorities were led to Tang’s alleged plans after a message posted in a chat room saying he was wanted by authorities for grabbing the Olympic Torch in Nanjing.
“Tang works for a telecommunications company in Zhenjiang, according to the Xinhua News Agency.”
In Guangzhou, “officials had to extinguish the torch and alter its scheduled route to avoid the unexpected enthusiasm of local supporters, according to the website Around the Rings which monitors the event,” says AHN.

LOL, don’t grab the torch, man. There are alot of other crafty things you can do, without molesting the torch carrier.
I still think the “Mob the guy, and light Chinese flags with the flame, in front of world news cameras” is a better idea. I think that those who are not Buddhist don’t have a right to burn the flag though. Probably not a good idea to actually do within the Chinese border either.
The Chinese government’s treatment of the Buddhists, and their freedom to practice their religion, is appalling. Not to mention their freedom to continue living, instead of being exterminated by military force.
