Bell Canada and the Lemming tale

p2pnet news | Freedom:- With the CRTC decision to initiate a probe into Bell Canada’s bandwidth throttling and anti-Net neutrality activities front and centre, an elderly, but still interesting, story continues to bubble away in the background.
As Remarkk put it in March, “Bell Canada Associate Director of Media Relations Jason Laszlo made a real boner move, boasting on Facebook of his ability to snow journalists with his network management bafflegab, referring to journalists as ‘lemmings’ in a recent status update.”
Laszlo is, “Clearly a super-fun guy in real life (note colourful hat and armband tattoo), he further demonstrated the Bell Media Relations department’s apparent unfamiliarity with modern web tools by leaving his Facebook profile wide-open to the public to see,” says the post.
He may think journalists are Lemmings, but his attitude squares nicely with Bell’s equal, and clearly demonstrated, contempt for its customers.
It’s the thought that counts and of course, unlike in the ‘real’ world where today’s news quickly becomes tomorrow’s garbage wrapping, online, nothing goes away ……
Meanwhile, Remarkk thinks that’s a funny hat on Laszlo’s head. We think it looks more like a parrot crapping on it
And by an amazing coincidence, the incriminating words have vanished from the Facebook site in question.
