Michael Moore & Madonna: the odd couple

p2pnet news | Movies:- Madonna has a new fan.
Michael Moore.
He’s waxing lyrical about her excursion into the documentary making business.
“Madge, now a Brit who has deigned not to perform in metro Detroit on her last three tours, will bring her African documentary about Malawi - “I Am Because We Are” - to the Traverse City Film Festival on Aug. 2,” says the Detroit Free Press.
Moore founded the festival, says the story
“She’s sort of entered my realm,” the Associated Press has him saying.
“When I saw it, I thought, ‘Wow, it’s like she’s been making these films for years.”
Madonna produced and narrated the documentary after traveling to Malawi, where she met the toddler David Banda, whom she and husband, Guy Ritchie, are adopting, says AP.
Moore, meanwhile, is apparently planning a ‘searing and provocative‘ follow-up to his Fahrenheit 9/11.

“Wow, it’s like she’s been making these films for years.”
If i may offer a differential diagnosis, another possibility is that Moore is a particularly poor documentary film maker, and doesn’t know a good documentary film when he sees it. Moore is saying that Madona is at least as good at making documentary films as he is. Agreed.
