		<description>Diagnosis in 1991 means that he had already 17 years to live with this devasting disease. Despite all research this is still a horrifying illness. True is (like always) - if you don´t suffer you hardly care. But finally it is a very good thing that people get active. Parkinson is definetly limiting value of life, not only for the patient but also for the relatives.</description>

Do you think Michael would bat an eyelid for parkinsons research if he hadn&#039;t contracted it himself? Like with most things, people only care about things that concern them; myopic selfishness. Then everyone lauds him for it, lol.

Yes, it&#039;s a terrible affliction, but this is the truth, people are inherently self serving; to deny this is to deny our very nature.</description>
