RIAA-ex Hilary Rosen joins Huffington Post

p2pnet news | RIAA News:- Former Big 4 terrorist-in-chief Hilary ‘Reach Out’ Rosen, “whose deep unpopularity online once earned her a description as ‘the Unabomber in a pantsuit’,” says the Huffington Post, has been named political director at —-

—- The Huffington Post.

‘Deep unpopularity’ is a massive under-statement.

The pic on the right shows her in deep conversation with the publication’s Arianna Huffington (right).

Rosen’s “deep network of contacts in DC should help to boost her publication’s political coverage,” according to Huffington, who, “also expects Rosen to help out with The Huffington Post’s Off The Bus citizen journalism reporting project, as well as plan this summer’s convention coverage,” it states.

Rosen. Citizen journalists. Off the bus. Riiiiight.

“Hilary really knows Washington and its political players intimately, and everyone on [The Huffington Post's] team in Washington loves her,” the story has Huffington saying.

Will she continue her sterling work with another ex-RIAA boss, Jay Berman, with whom she was/is running a consulting boutique?

While she was heading up Vivendi Universal, EMI, Warner Music and Sony BMG’s RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) , she spent much of her time ‘reaching out,’ as she liked to out it, hither and yon to spread the gospel according to the Big 4.

And being in the RIAA is like being in the Mafia, with which it’s often accurately compared.

Once you’re in, you never leave.

Definitely stay tuned.

  1. Reader's Write Says:

    We do not forget.
    And we do not forgive.

  2. Reader's Write Says:

I’m sure she’ll be a great fit for that publication. They love dirt-bags.

  3. Rob Mullen Says:

These people must hate music and people in general and have no connection with normal people or humanity. They’re like glorified parking inspectors gone mad.

  4. Reader's Write Says:

I forgive when there’s a basis for it. The unapologetic can’t be forgiven as they seek none.

  5. Reader's Write Says:

Yes I remember one of her last infamous quotes when gloating over an RIAA victory. “When someone copies a song to their computer, there’s a copyright crime right there”, or something to that effect. Even though they had already previously stated that was ok.

The law according to Hilary Rosen (Hairy Russian) indeed.

  6. Reader's Write Says:

I still say she should only be allowed to clean school toilets for a living, or cell preferrably, with hard labor

  7. Reader's Write Says:

Hilary Rosen is one of the most knowledgeable people in D.C. and has done more for the music industry than the public is willing to accept becase they want everything free with no money to the writers and artists of that music. ‘there is no free lunch’. She is fabulous on CNN and on MSNBC and is always the most articulate on speaks directly and accurately, which is more than one can say for some.
